Three Wedding Looks with Margo and Me

When we heard that our friend Jenny Bernheim, the beauty behind popular fashion blog Margo and Me became engaged, we asked her to pull together three wedding day looks that showed her personal bridal style. She modeled BHLDN dresses at the prettiest places around L.A.: Beverly Hills City Hall, a Bel Air estate, and a West Hollywood hotel.

How did it feel walking around in this gown, and what was your favorite detail?
The Penelope Gown is one of my favorites. It’s so ethereal! The illusion neckline and lace bodice is a beautiful combination.

Paint a picture of what a wedding here might look like.
I’ve always loved the architecture and European-inspired gardens of the Beverly Hills City Hall. At a location similar to this, I think a French blue-themed outdoor wedding with crystal chandeliers hanging from the trees would be lovely.

This look makes us think of Old Hollywood. Tell us what you were inspired by when you were putting it together?
This gown felt very traditional and classic to me, and I wanted the styling to reflect its clean elements. Because the back detail is so stunning, wearing my hair up was a must.

I see this dress being worn at…
A reception with lots and lots of dancing!

How did you approach accessories for this look?
I added a crystal belt and headpiece; it’s a great way to elevate a reception dress.

In your opinion what makes a memorable reception?
An amazing band, champagne, and a photo booth.
