Parisian designer Rime Arodaky began her career as a junior designer in such renowned fashion houses as Sonia Rykiel and Dice Kayek. In 2010 she started a blog, “Lalovelist,” where she shared her design inspirations, wish lists, and musings on weddings and marriage. These days, she’s known for challenging the traditional image of the bride with her innovative designs, featuring luxe crepe and sheer lace details. Perfect for the sexy, modern bride, it’s an aesthetic we like to call elevated rock’n’roll.

We knew they would create gorgeous gowns for our boho brides, and they did not disappoint. To celebrate the success of our recent collaboration, we chatted with Ash about the brand’s inspirations, their beginnings as a disruptor in the typically buttoned-up bridal industry, and what’s coming next.
Here at BHLDN you can often catch us daydreaming about the fab weddings we would plan for ourselves. We chatted with our Print & Interactive Designer, January, about how she would incorporate her distinct personal style into her big day.
