Hello from BHLDN! Have you seen our Beach & Honeymoon collection? Featuring gorgeous beaches and the clearest, most turquoise water, this photo shoot took place in Phu Quoc, Vietnam — an island located off the coast of Cambodia. Here, we turn it over to our creative team to share their personal pics and experiences…
The landscape was very beach-meets-jungle. Amazing dragonflies, lush pepper plantations, and in the evening, serenades by chirping frogs! — Jamie F., producer
To get to our location, we took multiple flights followed by a five-hour car drive. During the shoot, we rode in wooden boats and climbed large rock formations to get to and from each shot. — Becky E., merchandiser
We had some of the freshest, most flavorful fruit we’ve ever tasted. Sweet mangoes, dragon fruit, and our personal fave: passion fruit juice with the seeds. — Tracy S., creative director
In the city of Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam the streets were crowded with moped drivers (the main type of transportation). It was incredible to see what they were capable of carrying: families of five, cartons of eggs, birdcages filled with live birds, huge sheets of glass…! — Becky E.
Wild jasmine & saltwater fragranced the air. So, so lovely. — Tracy S.
The food we’ll miss most: egg pancake lettuce wraps with delicious dipping sauce, the best (roadside truck stop!) pork bun we’ve ever eaten, and ALL VIETNAMESE COFFEE. — Jamie F.
The sunsets were spectacular. — Jamie F.
