Here at BHLDN, you can often catch us daydreaming about the fab weddings we would plan for ourselves. Our Marketing Assistant, CC, married her sweet husband two years ago, so we chatted about how she would incorporate her distinct personal style into her big day if she were to do it all again. Spoiler alert: it includes her adorable pup and unofficial PR team mascot, Jojo.
What do you do at BHLDN?
My role involves all things marketing, public relations and events at BHLDN! My day-to-day consists of planning in-store events, sending out samples to the media and local photographers to shoot, and working with influencers to support our latest marketing initiatives.
How would you describe your personal style?
I would describe my style as easygoing. Though I love keeping up with the trends, if it’s something that requires a lot of thought and effort to wear, I probably won’t be wearing it. My ultimate goal is to throw something on and look as effortlessly put together as Kendall Jenner.
First of all, where is your bachelorette party and what are you packing?
My girls and I would jet off to New Orleans! I would most definitely wear the Mara Jumpsuit—comfort and functionality is key.

The best part about weddings is…
Aside from getting to experience couples in love, I adore seeing all the personal touches brides and grooms put into their special days. From the venue to the favors, I think it’s so cool to see how much thought was put into the small details that reflect the couples’ unique relationships.
Do you have a dress in mind?
The Ludlow Gown. It’s sooo soft and lightweight!

How would you style it for your big day?
I’d add a pop of color with the Pentas Drop Earrings.
What’s in your bouquet?
I’m thinking lots of color! I would love to have bright oranges, pinks, and yellows all working together to make an all-around, sunburst of a bouquet. Colorful florals are the perfect way to offset the bridal party outfitted in ivory.

Big wedding or small wedding?
My husband, David, and I have been married for almost 2 years now, and we had the big wedding. However, if we were to do it again (vow renewal!), I think it would be great for it to be small and intimate with just our closest friends and family members—the people in our lives we couldn’t live without!
Where are you tying the knot?
The perfect spot for our intimate nuptials would be a destination wedding in Amorgos, Greece. Neither of us have ever been, but it’s a dream destination! I can’t imagine a better spot than an outdoor ceremony surrounded by colorful architecture and the smell of the sea.

What’s the décor like?
With a setting like Greece, I wouldn’t need to do much! I think the best touch anyone can put on an outdoor venue is bistro lights draped over the event space.
Something unique about my wedding would be…
Since this is my dream wedding, I am going to pretend like we could bring our dog, JoJo, to Greece with us. We are kind of obsessed with her. She would 100% stand up there with us as we tied the knot, and I’m sure she would make it into our vows.
What are some must-have songs for the reception?
A reception is meant for dancing, therefore:
“Push It” by Salt-N-Pepa
“It’s Gonna Be Me” by *NSYNC
What flavor would your cake be?
At our real wedding, we had a Rice Krispy Treat cake. I don’t think I’d change that. Nobody eats Rice Krispy Treats as often as they should.

And the honeymoon?
Why not bounce around Greece??
