4 WEAR-AGAIN BRIDESMAID LOOKS

You know when the bride in 27 Dresses delivers the infamous bridesmaid dress line: “You can shorten it and wear it again!”? And we inwardly groan because we’ve all been there—shelled out hard-earned cash on a dress that, five years later, hangs untouched in the back of the closet?  Consider this is our antidote for that infamous quote.

We took four of our bridesmaid dresses and made them casual enough to wear-again just about anywhere; modeled by lovelies from the office!

Wear-Again Bridesmaid Dresses

LOOK #1 | Libby A.

My personal style: edgy, funky, and tailored.
Best-dressed list: Jim Morrison with those leather pants and Concho belt, The Glimmer Twins (Mick Jagger and Keith Richards!), Jane Birkin, Lauren Bacall in The Big Sleep, Sharon Stone in Casino, Charlotte Rampling, Sloane in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.
If I could wear this anywhere, it would be: on a Venetian gondola ride with a lot of red wine.
This weekend, I’d wear it: to an art gallery.
The best part about this look is: the versatility of the top — you can wear it backwards for a sexy look!

Wear-Again Bridesmaid Dresses

LOOK #2 | Emily W.

My personal style:  minimal, feminine, organic.
Best-dressed list: Charlize Theron, Kate Middleton, Emma Watson, my mom.
If I could wear this anywhere, it would be: to tapas in Barcelona, after a day getting lost in the city.
This weekend, I’d wear it: to a dinner date with my husband.
The best part about this look is: it’s easy but elegant. The top is one of those throw-on-and-go pieces and has just the right amount of shimmer to go from office to evening.

Wear-Again Bridesmaid Dresses

LOOK #3 | Camille M.

My personal style: edgy-feminine, floral, monochromatic.
Best-dressed list: Rodarte, blogger Emily Luciano, Kate Mara, my sister.
If I could wear this anywhere, it would be: wine tasting with my best girlfriends in Tuscany.
This weekend, I’d wear it: on a special date night with my amazing boyfriend.
The best part about this look is: the hard-meets-soft element of the flowy skirt and the leather. It’s the perfect embodiment of that feminine yet edgy look I’m drawn to.

Wear-Again Bridesmaid Dresses

LOOK #4 | Kelly C.

My personal style: beach-inspired, laid-back, flowy.
Best-dressed list: Vanessa Hudgens, Julie Sariñana, Rachel Zoe.
If I could wear this anywhere, it would be: exploring the streets of Paris.
This weekend, I’d wear it: to an al fresco lunch with friends.
The best part about this look is: how effortless and romantic it is—super comfortable, too!
